We’re a team of filmmakers from South Africa who started Visual Tone as a way to solve our own needs for digital assets for our productions. We simply weren’t happy with the SFX and Film LUTs that were available on the market and set off to design our own.

In doing so, we quickly realised the hard work that goes into achieving professional grade filmmaking assets. After months of iterations and collaborations, we developed our own assets which we have been using ever since.

It wasn’t long before we started receiving comments and questions about our films. It seemed that many other filmmakers were looking to solve the same problems as we were. And so Visual Tone was born. We’re happy to be able to offer our products, know-how, and industry insights to other filmmakers looking to enhance the quality of their production.
