These basic instructions will guide you how to install your presets onto Lightroom desktop and mobile (for Mac or Windows). We have written out two separate guides, one for Lightroom Classic (for desktop) as well as Adobe’s latest Lightroom (for both desktop & mobile). After this, you’ll be ready to use your favorite presets in no time.

Installing presets in Lightroom (CC)

1. Extract the ZIP file with the downloaded presets
2. Open Lightroom CC
3. Click on Preferences
4. Click Presets Tab
5. Click “Show Lightroom Develop Presets“
6. Open “Settings” folder
7. Copy / Paste extracted files (from step 1) into this folder
8. Restart Lightroom
9. All of the presets will be listed in the presets panel and are ready to use! (see picture 3)

Step 4 & 5

In Preferences, click the “Presets” tab and then “Show Lightroom Develop Presets”

Open “Settings” folder and paste the preset files

Step 9

After restart, all presets will be listed and ready to use!

Installing presets in Lightroom Mobile

In order to complete this process, you will need to have installed both

• Adobe Lightroom (desktop)
• Adobe Lightroom (mobile)

We will first import the presets onto Lightroom (Desktop) and automatically sync them to Adobe Lightroom (Mobile) using creative cloud.

Step 1  – Adobe Lightroom (Desktop)

1. Extract the ZIP file with the downloaded presets
2. Open Lightroom
3. Login to your Creative Cloud account
4. Choose any photo and click Edit
5. In the edit panel you will see a Presets button at the bottom … Click on the Presets Button (see picture 1)
6. On the Presets panel, click on the three dots and then click Import Presets … (see picture 2)
7. Navigate to the presets folder you just extracted 
8. Select all the files and click Import (see picture 3)
9. All of the presets will be listed in the presets panel and are ready to use! (see picture 4)

Installing presets in Lightroom Mobile using .DNG files (alternative method)

If for whatever reason you do not have Adobe Creative Cloud (or access to a computer), you can create presets from .DNG files

1. Extract the ZIP file with the downloaded .DNG presets on your phone
2. Open Lightroom Mobile
3. Create a new Folder
4. Import all DNG files into the folder
5. Click on the graded preset, go to the top right corner and click on the three dots
6. Go to Create Preset and give it a name
7. Repeat process for all images
8. You will find them under User Presets
9. Begin Editing
